When it comes to the precise power control of LED lighting in image processing, measurement technology, or microscopy, GEFASOFT LUCON light controllers are the first choice.
The latest development in the LUCON® controller series: the LUCON® 4C-20A-V offers four independent channels with a power output of up to 20 A per channel and integrated voltage control up to 60 V. For example, it is possible to drive a single LED with 20 mA / 3.3 V on channel 1, while using a large illuminator with 20,000 mA / 60 V on channel 2. The LUCON is designed so that the optimum operating point of the LED can always be used.
This allows flexible use in almost any image processing application. The current per channel can be controlled independently and very precisely in 100 µA steps up to a maximum of 20 A. The LUCON® 4C-20A-V light controller is suitable for both continuous and pulsed operation.
As you would expect from the LUCON® controller series, the LUCON® 4C-20A-V also has an Ethernet interface and thus an integrated web server. This means that all settings can be configured via a web browser and the ergonomic graphical user interface. Control is very simple. No additional software is required.
An Ethernet interface with UDP protocol is available for integration into a machine control system with command-based communication in order to address the command interface (via RS232 or UDP).
Flexibility and scalability thanks to modular design
The LUCON® 4C-20A-V has a modular design. This requires a separately available bus connector. This is inserted between the DIN rail and the light controller. It is then possible to configure all connected controllers with just one network connection.
The LUCON® 4C-20A-V is backward compatible with LUCON® and LUCON® 2. The LUCON® 4C-20A-V is extremely easy to use and control, and experienced LUCON® users will find their way around immediately. New commands have been added for the extended range of functions of the LUCON® 4C-20A-V.
