jumavis® at Semicon 2026 in Munich

At SEMICON Europa – Europe’s leading trade fair for microelectronics – jumavis® is presenting revolutionary solutions for quality assurance in semiconductor manufacturing.

In recent years, jumavis® has successfully established exclusive partnerships with key manufacturers of components for nanometer-precision wafer inspection. Combined with the exceptional expertise of its in-house specialists in this field, jumavis® offers customers solutions that until recently seemed impossible.

In semiconductor manufacturing, minute feature sizes and complex material layers demand entirely new approaches to quality assurance: reliable measurements in the nanometer range, achieved through a synergy of confocal line scanning, 3D profiling, and precise positioning. Together with their partners, LMI Technologies and PEAK-Metrology, the specialists at jumavis® offer turnkey, end-to-end solutions for the efficient inspection of the smallest structures.

High-precision 3D inspection in the sub-micrometer range requires flawless synchronization between sensor technology and mechanics. Thanks to the combination of confocal line sensor technology (LCI) and vibration-free positioning technology, successful 3D inspection is possible even on highly reflective or transparent surfaces.

For the inspection systems showcased at Semicon, jumavis® acts as an experienced system provider, combining confocal line sensors from LMI Technologies (Gocator series) with robust, vibration-free granite positioning systems from Peak Metrology.

jumavis®’s core strength lies in application engineering: by synchronizing axis control and sensor technology via software – such as X-Y and Z-stitching – the company creates a comprehensive system precisely tailored to specific wafer and electronics manufacturing processes. This system integrates seamlessly into existing production lines, thereby delivering exceptional cost-efficiency.

The Gocator 5512 confocal line sensor from LMI enables various measurement methods for highly accurate and efficient quality control in both laboratory and production environments. The solid granite table eliminates vibrations, thereby ensuring vibration-free measurement processes. „We are very proud to have successfully transformed jumavis® from a component dealer into a competent system integrator within just a few years,“ says founder and Managing Director Johanna Unrath. „We are confident that we will succeed in impressing our customers and visitors.“

In addition, jumavis® is showcasing further innovations from its many partners in clearly arranged display cases, demonstrating its versatility as *the* specialist and distributor for all optical quality control applications – offering everything from consultation and system configuration to feasibility studies from a single source.
