At the invitation of Waldbronn Mayor Christian Stalf, jumavis GmbH had the pleasure of welcoming the Member of the German Bundestag Nicolas Zippelius to its premises on July 14, 2026. The visit focused on a dialogue regarding economic policy issues and an exchange on funding opportunities for innovative small and medium-sized enterprises.

CEO Johanna Unrath presented jumavis GmbH, outlining the company’s areas of expertise and service portfolio. Subsequently, Dr.-Ing. Tobias Wiesendanger provided insights into jumavis’s technical expertise using two practical examples, demonstrating the application of modern image processing and measurement technology. As highlights were demonstrated:

– a 2D inspection system featuring Navitar lenses for quality control of printed circuit boards (PCBs), and

– a confocal 3D measurement system from LMI Technologies for the high-precision inspection of microchips.

The demonstrations illustrated the vital contribution that innovative engineering solutions make to quality assurance and industrial automation.

We would like to thank Mr. Zippelius for the open and constructive discussion, as well as Mr. Stalf for initiating this exchange. Dialogue between the political, business, and technology sectors is essential for fostering innovation and sustainably strengthening competitiveness.

The guests are visibly impressed by the performance of the LMI 3D measurement system.
