Control 2025 – jumavis® presents world firsts

Following its successful debut last year, the dynamic „newcomer“ jumavis® will be presenting world firsts in optical quality control and processing at the “37th Control fair” from May 6 to 9, 2025 in Hall 9, Stand 9204.

Five ground-breaking innovations can be found on the jumavis® exhibition stand. This year’s co-exhibitors are jumavis® partners DeltaPix and LMI, who will be at the stand with qualified specialist staff to present their new developments. The German software company COMI will demonstrate revolutionary approaches in optical quality control with its AI solutions. The Canadian manufacturer Teledyne DALSA will also be presenting the integrated high-speed line scanning module AxCIS™ – an outstanding web inspection system for many demanding applications. Last but not least, the jumavis® team of specialists will be demonstrating the latest developments from Navitar®, one of the leading manufacturers of quality lenses.

„We are proud to be able to present these top-class world firsts with our partners at the 37th Control 2025,“ says founder and managing director Johanna Unrath. „Our customers‘ requirements are increasing and we are always at the forefront. That’s why visitors of jumavis® will of course also find other interesting products and solutions. Our team and I are looking forward to the trade fair days to make many new contacts and also to see „old“ acquaintances again. It’s definitely worth visiting us.“

The new 3D digital microscope „DPX F1000“ from the innovative Danish developer and manufacturer DeltaPix enables 3D topography, roughness measurement, extended depth of field, stitching and much more. DeltaPix CEO Steen Oersted will personally present the technology and application possibilities of the „DPX F1000“ and answer questions at the jumavis® exhibition stand on all days of the trade fair. The system is used in quality assurance, forensics, biomedicine and geology.

The second „highlight“ will be presented by jumavis® partner LMI. The Canadian specialist has been working on the development and production of intelligent 3D sensor technology for fast and accurate measurements since 1998. With the Gocator® 5500 series, LMI is presenting smart confocal 3D line sensors that are able to analyze multiple profiles of multi-layered surfaces simultaneously. With measuring frequencies of up to 40 kHz (with acceleration), a high X-resolution, Z-precision in the sub-micrometer range and material-independent data acquisition, the Gocator® 5500 series is primarily used in the high-precision measurement of surfaces, quality assurance in semiconductor production or multilayer display glass.

The young team from COMI – a software company located in Leonberg/Germany – achieved a leading position in the field of AI applications in optical quality control with the first certified AI safety assistance system in Germany. They will be exhibiting at the jumavis® stand for the first time. The „Vision AI DMC Reader“ recognizes and reconstructs even heavily soiled codes, improving the reading rate by over 30% compared to conventional systems and thus reducing avoidable rejects in production.

The AxCIS™ high-speed line scan module from Teledyne DALSA proves its efficiency in a demonstration system for battery film inspection. This unit can also be used in print inspection, for example.

The reliability of optical quality control stands and falls with the quality of the „eye“ – it determines what is „seen“ and in what detail. This is why jumavis® traditionally devotes special attention to this area and presents new optical developments from Navitar.
